Developed in close collaboration with the Paul Smith team, the pop-up turned The Corner Shop into a replica of Sir Paul’s own studio, taking an early vision from sketches to a fully realised experience. Part installation, part retail, part working office, part archive, it was a playful world shaped by his passions, with cycling jerseys, custom bicycles and curiosities at every turn. Over two weeks in September, Sir Paul worked from the studio on several occasions, visible from the window and welcoming visitors in person.

Authenticity was everything.
Every detail was considered, down to the same lightbulbs as those over Paul’s desk. The wallpaper was montaged from photographs of his real office, and the shelves held over 100 boxes of its contents, with 140 frames hung in their original configurations. The result was considered chaos, made to look effortless.
